OUR PROFESSIONAL STAFF

Managing & Artistic Director

Tim Campbell has served as TCT’s Managing & Artistic Director since August of 2004. He holds an MFA in Directing from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Music Management from the University of Colorado.

In the fall of 2004, the Southwest Theatre and Film Association named Tim the recipient of the August Staub Young Director’s Award (an annual award given to a promising director in the first five years of a professional career).

Tim has worked in regional and educational theatre and arts administration in Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. He has taught at both the college and high school levels.

In addition to his position at TCT, Tim also serves as the Director of Theatre Activities for Temple College.

Technical Director

Dustin Ozment began serving as our full-time Technical Director on November 1, 2010.

Dustin first came to TCT in the summer of 2006 as a student intern and Assistant Technical Director during The King & I. In the fall of 2006 he returned to the University of Oklahoma where he completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Technical Production in 2008.

Since then, Dustin has worked as a scenic carpenter for FX Group in Orlando, Florida and Shakespeare Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, California.

Dustin brings a broad range of skills and experience to TCT having worked with molding and casting of plastics and fiberglass, creation of custom shop tools, and scenic painting.

Office Manager

Aileen Snyder joined the staff of Temple Civic Theatre in the June 2006 as Office Manager. Aileen had been the Business Manager at the Cultural Activities Center for six years prior to joining the TCT staff. While at the CAC, Aileen handled rentals, the facilities staff, personnel management and all accounting functions.

Aileen said that she and her husband, Terry, moved to Texas from California in 1989 when her husband became Executive Chef at the Stagecoach Inn in Salado. Terry now works as an home remodeling independent contractor.

Aileen also worked for Texas Instruments before the company closed the Temple location. After the plant closing, she went back to college and completed her degree in accounting, graduating with a 3.89 GPA.

Terry and Aileen's son works with his dad in the remodeling business, and their daughter works at Border's Express in Temple Mall and also at H-E-B.

Aileen says she really enjoys working in the arts. "The thing I love best is seeing the joy in people's faces (especially children) after attending a show or another event.

"I am really happy to have been chosen for the position at TCT because TCT is like a family," Aileen adds. "Everyone has been so welcoming and it really nice to see some of the faces that I recognize from the CAC.

"I may eventually get over my shyness and actually audition for a part in a show. I haven't done that since I was in high school when I was Daisy Mae in Lil Abner. And I sure enjoyed that!"
